How to Top Up Your Briz Wallet With USDC on Solana

Learn how to deposit USDC to your Briz wallet using Phantom or MetaMask on the Solana blockchain. Step-by-step guide to safely fund your wallet and start trading onchain assets.

Overview

Briz is built on Solana, giving you fast, low-cost, onchain access to:

  • crypto and memecoins
  • tokenized stocks and commodities
  • onchain indexes
  • real-world tokenized assets

Before you can start trading, you need to fund your Briz wallet.

This guide explains how to deposit USDC using self-custodial wallets like Phantom and MetaMask.

Critical Rule: Solana Network Only

All deposits must be sent on the Solana blockchain.

If you send USDC on:

  • Ethereum (ERC-20)
  • BNB Chain (BEP-20)
  • Polygon, Arbitrum, or any other network

Your funds will be lost and cannot be recovered.

This is not a Briz limitation — it's how blockchains work. Each network is a separate ledger. Tokens sent on the wrong network do not exist on the destination chain.

Always verify the network before confirming any transaction.

Step 1: Open Deposit in Briz

In the Briz app:

  1. Go to your wallet
  2. Press Deposit
  3. Select USDC

You will see:

  • a QR code
  • your Solana public wallet address

This address is your personal Solana wallet on Briz. It can receive any SPL token, and Briz primarily uses USDC for deposits and trading.

Step 2: Copy or Scan Your Solana Address

You have two options:

  • Copy the wallet address to your clipboard
  • Scan the QR code from another wallet app

This is the destination address where USDC must be sent — on Solana only.

Step 3: Send USDC From Your Wallet

Option A: Phantom Wallet

Phantom is a native Solana wallet and the simplest option.

In Phantom:

  1. Open Phantom and select USDC
  2. Tap Send
  3. Paste your Briz Solana wallet address
  4. Enter the amount
  5. Confirm the transaction

No network selection is required — Phantom operates natively on Solana.

Option B: MetaMask

MetaMask can be used if you have USDC already on Solana through MetaMask's Solana support or a bridge.

In MetaMask:

  1. Ensure you are on the Solana network
  2. Select USDC (Solana)
  3. Tap Send
  4. Paste your Briz Solana wallet address
  5. Confirm the transaction

MetaMask defaults to Ethereum. Only proceed if you are certain you are sending Solana-native USDC. If the network shows Ethereum, ERC-20, or any other chain — stop and switch networks first.

Option C: Other Solana Wallets

Any Solana-compatible wallet works:

  • Solflare
  • Backpack
  • Glow
  • Ledger (with Solana app)

The process is the same:

  1. Select USDC
  2. Send to your Briz Solana address
  3. Confirm

Pre-Send Checklist

Before confirming any transfer, verify:

  • [ ] Asset is USDC (recommended for this guide)
  • [ ] Network is Solana
  • [ ] Address matches your Briz deposit address exactly

If anything looks incorrect, cancel and review. A small test transaction can confirm everything is configured correctly before sending larger amounts.

Step 4: Funds Arrive in Your Briz Wallet

Solana transactions confirm in seconds.

Once the transaction is confirmed onchain, your USDC will appear in your Briz wallet automatically. No manual action is required.

You're now ready to:

  • trade crypto and memecoins
  • access tokenized stocks and commodities
  • buy onchain indexes
  • explore tokenized real-world assets

All self-custodial. All onchain. All settled on Solana.

Why Briz Uses Solana

Briz is built on Solana because it enables:

| Feature | Benefit | |---------|---------| | Sub-second finality | Transactions confirm almost instantly | | Low fees | Fractions of a cent per transaction | | Onchain settlement | All trades settle directly on the blockchain | | Self-custody | You control your keys and assets |

This infrastructure makes everyday onchain finance practical — fast enough and cheap enough for real use.

Troubleshooting

USDC not appearing after sending?

  • Verify the transaction confirmed on a Solana explorer (like Solscan)
  • Ensure you sent on the Solana network, not Ethereum or another chain
  • Check that the destination address matches your Briz wallet

Sent on the wrong network?

  • Funds sent on non-Solana networks cannot be recovered
  • Briz cannot access tokens on other blockchains

Transaction pending for a long time?

  • Solana transactions typically confirm in seconds
  • If pending for minutes, check network status or try again

Summary

To fund your Briz wallet:

  1. Open Deposit in Briz and copy your Solana address
  2. Open Phantom, MetaMask, or another Solana wallet
  3. Send USDC to your Briz address on the Solana network
  4. Wait for confirmation — funds appear automatically

Once funded, Briz becomes your gateway to onchain finance — crypto, stocks, commodities, and real-world assets, all in one self-custodial wallet.
